José Luis Cortina
President
José Luis is a founding partner of Neovantas, which began operating in Spain in 2004. During his professional career, spanning more than 25 years in consulting, he has led strategy, organization, and operations projects in various industries. His clients come from the financial, industrial, telecommunications, media, energy, and public sectors. In recent years, he has worked with senior management at leading Spanish and international companies on the effective incorporation of “The Voice of the Customer.” Before joining Neovantas, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company and Mitchell Madison Group.
José Luis holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Higher School of Industrial Engineers of Bilbao (Spain) and, with a Fulbright scholarship, obtained an MBA from Drake University (USA).
Juan de Rus
Managing Director
Juan is currently Managing Partner at Neovantas, having previously worked at Deloitte and Unicaja. He specializes in the banking, insurance, and telecommunications sectors, among others. In recent years, he has led various projects in Spain, Europe, and Latin America, mainly related to the exploitation of behavioral data to improve revenue (sales, retention, collections, or customer experience) in both physical networks and remote channels.
Juan holds an MSc in Behavioral Science with Distinction from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), an MBA from the Carlos III University of Madrid, and a Master of Arts with Distinction from the University of Dundee (UK). He previously graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Jaén.
Juan also works as an associate professor of Behavioral Science and Marketing at the Instituto de Empresa, the Carlos III University of Madrid, and the University of Barcelona.
Beatriz Busto
Deputy Director & Head of Behavioral Economics
Beatriz is currently Deputy Director and Head of BECO (Behavioral Economics) at Neovantas. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of the Basque Country. In addition, she has an Executive MBA from EAE Business School and a Postgraduate Degree in Behavioral Science from Behavior & Law.
She has over 10 years of experience leading consulting projects, mainly in the Banking and Insurance sectors. As the head of Neovantas' Behavioral Economics unit, she also has extensive experience in the specialized application of Behavioral Economics across projects in various industries and areas.
Before joining Neovantas, Beatriz worked at BOC Group and Cecabank as a consultant.
