JOSÉ LUIS CORTINA
MANAGING DIRECTOR
José Luis is a founding partner of Neovantas, having begun operations in 2004. During his 25 years as a professional consultant, he has led projects focusing on strategy, organization, and operations in a range of different industries. He has clients in the financial, industrial, telecoms, media, energy, and public sectors. In recent years, he has been working with senior management at leading companies, both in Spain and internationally, to incorporate the “Voice of the Customer” in their operations.
Before joining Neovantas, José Luis was a partner at McKinsey & Company and the Mitchell Madison Group.
José Luis graduated in industrial engineering at the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros Industriales in Bilbao (Spain) and then was later awarded an MBA from Drake University (USA) as part of the Fulbright Foreign Student Program.

Juan is currently Director & Partner at Neovantas, having previously worked at Deloitte and Unicaja, and is a specialist in the banking, telecoms, and insurance industries. In recent years, he has led a range of projects in Spain, Europe, and Latin America, primarily focused on increasing revenue (sales, retention, and collection) in branch networks and remote channels.
Juan achieved an MSc with distinction in Behavioral Science from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), an MBA from Carlos III University in Madrid, and a master’s degree with distinction in Arts & Social Sciences from the University of Dundee (UK). Prior to this, he received a bachelor’s degree in Administration and Business Management from the University of Jaén.
Juan also works with Carlos III University in Madrid as an associate professor of Marketing and Consumer Behavior on various programs, including their MBA program and Master´s programs in Marketing and Business Consultancy.

BEATRIZ BUSTO
DEPUTY DIRECTOR & HEAD OF BECO
Beatriz is currently Deputy Director and Head of BECO (Behavioral Economics) at Neovantas. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV). In addition, she holds an Executive MBA at EAE Business School and a Postgraduate degree in Behavioral Science at Behavior & Law.
She has been leading consulting projects for more than 10 years, primarily in the banking and insurance sectors. In addition, as head of the unit of Behavioral Economics at Neovantas, she has extensive experience in the specialized application of Behavioral Economics in projects across different sectors and areas.
Before joining Neovantas, Beatriz worked at BOC Group and Cecabank as a consultant.
